Kids Fun Fair

Oakland International British School organized its annual funfair on Saturday 2nd December 2017 with the theme “KIDS FUNFAIR AND CHARITY DRIVE” targeted at raising funds to support the orphans of Hope for Survival Orphanage (HSO), Gishiri, Abuja. We had a couple of vendors take part in the fair with products ranging from food, games, toys, books, clothes and so much more, pledging 5% of their proceeds to the cause.

We had 5 orphans accompanied by 2 adults from the Hope for Survival Orphanage, Gishiri in attendance. They were treated to some yummy delights by our generous vendors. They also got some vouchers to grant them access on the games and food stalls, they all got their faces painted. The school provided them with lunch, water and drinks. They were picked up and dropped off at the orphanage after the event. It was a huge success thanks to the generosity and participation of our parents, staff, pupils and vendors.
