Oakland International School Abuja operates a broad based and balanced curriculum that affords every child the opportunity for free self-expression. We rigorously encourage and inculcate problem-solving skills in the pupils under our care.
Our curriculum is specifically tailored to develop critical thinking skills, innovation, global citizenship, collaboration and cooperation in the pupils. We systematically develop the reading skills through our phonics programme throughout the Early Years and consolidate this in Key Stage 1.
We develop our pupils’ Mathematics skills through practical approaches to concepts. We undertake investigative Mathematics to consolidate the understanding and consequently application of concepts effortlessly.
We also expose the pupils to the Arts, Music, Drama, ICT, Humanities and PE for the total development and a holistic experience for the pupils.
