Step 1: Initial Inquiry
Prospective parents submit an inquiry form on our website or contact the school directly via phone or email to express interest in enrolling their child.
Our admissions team responds to the inquiry, providing an overview of the school’s curriculum, facilities, and admission requirements..
Step 2: School Tour & Meeting
Prospective parents are invited to a tour of the school, which includes a meeting with a member of our admissions team.
During the tour, parents have the opportunity to see our facilities, meet with members of staff, and get a sense of our school culture.
Step 3: Assessment & Interview
Depending on the child’s age and grade level, an assessment and/or interview may be required. Assessments are used to determine the child’s academic level and identify any areas of support that may be needed.
Interviews are an opportunity for us to get to know the child and parents better, and to answer any questions they may have.
Step 4: Application Form
Prospective parents are provided with an application form, which must be completed and returned to the school.
The application form includes personal and academic information about the child, as well as contact information for the parents.
Step 5: Admission Decision
Once all required documents and assessments have been completed, our admissions team reviews the application and makes an admission decision.
Parents are notified of the decision via email or phone call.
Step 6: Enrollment & Payment
If the application is successful, parents are required to complete an enrollment form and pay the required fees (including tuition, registration, and other applicable fees).
Payment details and deadlines are provided to parents along with the enrollment form.
Step 7: Welcome to Oakland International British School!
Once enrollment is complete, parents and students are welcomed to the Oakland International British School community.
We provide a comprehensive orientation program to help new students and parents transition smoothly into our school community.
