At Oakland International British School, our after-school clubs are rooted in our commitment to providing pupils with diverse and enriching opportunities for personal growth and social development. Through our clubs, we aim to complement the academic curriculum by offering engaging activities that foster creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. We prioritize inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that all pupils can participate in clubs that align with their interests and abilities. Our policy emphasizes the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment where pupils can explore their passions, build new skills, and form lasting friendships. We strive to enhance the overall educational experience of our pupils and promote a culture of lifelong learning and enrichment.
We offer a wide range of co-curricular activities at our school. These are both indoor and outdoor activities covering a wide range to ensure every child can find various activities to sign up for in a week. We engage external providers to run some of the clubs and some of our teachers add value by running a few of these clubs as well. Club activities run from 2:15 – 3:15 pm, Monday to Wednesday. Oakland staff are on duty at every club session to safeguard the pupils.
